Hey SK...
I gave this a go for a while and was quite pleased with the results. It was a good balance of mixing new and old philosophies...There are a few modern science-based tricks and tips, but you still have to bust your ass old school (successful) style.
Overall I felt like the exercises he chose were very effective at targeting muscles groups, both compound and otherwise...I stopped doing this full routine and have since switched my workouts to nailing 2 body parts per workout, each with only ONE exercise...and i just fucking kill it as hard as I can...I think that works better for my body, but I'm using a lot of the stuff i learned in that ebook for which exercises i pick...
Example...Instead of doing the whole "chest in time" routine, I'll just do dips as described for like 4 sets until failure, and that will be my chest workout for the week (followed by some other body part in this day's workout)...Next week, I'll do another chest exercise from his list, like bench press, and nail it in the same way...So after a month or so, I've cycled through his entire "chest in time" workout, but have nailed each individual exercise much harder than if I did them all in one day. I'm not saying its better or worse, but I think it works better for MY body. I'm trying to stick to at least one big compound per workout too, trying to spike some GH...Basically, I'm stealing a lot of his exercises and just modifying the frequency.
Lots of good info in there though, FCR hooked us up in a way only an HCA brother could! Let us know how it goes SK!
